Although made of a composite leather cover, the Molten FX7 Indoor Composite Leather Basketball is solely an Indoor basketball ball. This ball has very wide channels which are great for shooting, ball handling and passing. This is why the Molten FX7 Indoor Composite Leather Basketball ball is officially approved and chosen by the NFHS. Some people prefer composite leather to the real thing, which makes this the perfect indoor basketball ball for them. We however, disagree. Although it feels great for a synthetic ball, the Molten FX7 Indoor Composite Leather Basketball is not the real thing. We would classify it as a great practice ball which will last you years indoors.
